Affiliate disclosure
Short version: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a paid plan, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
Which links are affiliate links?
Links to tools that go through an address starting automatedbyfriday.com/go/ are our tool links. Some of them are affiliate links, and the rest may become affiliate links if we join that tool’s programme. We mark them in the page code with rel="sponsored", as Google asks, and each guide’s tools box links back to this page.
Do commissions affect what you recommend?
No. We recommend the free or cheapest option that does the job, and we say so in each guide’s cost box. Several tools we recommend, such as ChatGPT, Google Sheets and Gmail, pay us nothing at all. If a better tool comes along, we switch the recommendation, even if it pays less or nothing.
Which programmes do you belong to?
We’re a new site and are applying to programmes now, including Make, n8n, Zapier, HubSpot, Fireflies, Gamma and beehiiv. We’ll list the ones we belong to here once approved.
Sponsorships
If we run a sponsored newsletter slot or sponsored page, it will be labelled “Sponsored” or “Ad” right next to it. Sponsors don’t write, review or approve our guides.
Why tell you this?
Because you should know, and because UK advertising rules (the ASA’s CAP Code and consumer protection law enforced by the CMA) require marketing to be obviously identifiable. Questions? Get in touch.
